HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUMBO OF POREOTICS! :D
Tried finding a nice picture of him, but... meh. All the cute group shots just won't load somehow, and the solo pictures just look weird. I looooove his multi-coloured hair though. Just don't like the new tattoo. Kinda makes him look too gangsta, and different from the others. I like to see Poreotics as one (:
Listening to Chris Medina's What Are Words now. Awesome shitz, but I'd prefer it without the Autotune. I don't understand why producers wanna add it in. I guess it's to make the music sound nicer or whatever, but it sounds annoying to me, like some extra crackling sound when you're listening to a good voice. And it's sorta like putting Chris down, like saying he doesn't sound good enough or something, though we all know that's a blatant lie.
Anywayz, back to my life. I used to love Fridays, honestly, but recently it's like the school is trying to make us hate Fridays or something. What with implementing extra periods, having zaocao in the mornings so we have to persevere through the rest of the day (including cca) feeling like sweaty pigs.
RATATTTTTTT ♥ (i apologise for the randomness but i just love them so much)
I think I sometimes get carried away when I talk about music or listen to music, so to all of you who I've ever annoyed because I won't stop harping on, I'M SORRY! LOL. Just thought I'd say it. It's just that I'm pretty nuts about it. Like how I'm positively obssessed with AI. KEKE.
Lessons today were quite interesting. Especially music. -grins widely- Only some people would understand. -gives the creepy Tania smile-
Yesterday I stayed at cca for quite long until Lidan told me I could go because I wasn't needed. Yes, to my face LOL. But I kinda don't mind I guess. It's not like I really want to stay anyway haha. Today I was smarter, and asked Rebekah half an hour after arriving if I could go, and she said yeah. Wondering if I should attend tomorrow :/ saturday leh.
ATB-ed around Singapore after that with Lianne. It's a Friday thing. Sorta like a TGIF, but since we're schoolgirls with no monehhh, there're limited options. Sad huh.
On the way back in the train, this guy turned in our direction to look up at the board, while asking his friend, "Is this Tampines?" and I replied lamely "Yes it is." And he actually heard, and turned and smiled at me. LOL.
Gonna watch AI now. HAHA.

Feel the rhythm of the beat, that's my heart
It's been a pretty hectic week so far. Holidays aren't as slack as I hoped, sadly, but it wasn't actually that bad either. In fact, it's kinda better than going out all day and spending on unnecessary stuff, or staying home all day and having no life. LOL
Yesterday I woke up bright and early to go to school for chem tutorial at 8am. After that, I headed to amath, then went to pas at 11.30am, cause Lidan said the bus was leaving at 12. Turns out the bus was only coming at 1. Anyway, we order macs burgers for lunch, and Daine and I mostly just watched the cast put on their makeup.
Despite all my 4 years in Ed, I have only worn stage makeup once, and that was during a makeup workshop and they used my face to experiment HAHA. Stage makeup is very exaggerated, because the judges need to be able to see their faces clearly from afar, so the actors looked funny.
Then we boarded the bus to Acjc for our syf rehearsal. The bus ride was damnnnnn long. Daine and I shared her earpieces at first, but I couldn't take it because it was too loud. After one Shinedown song and one Rise Against song, I stopped listening.
I actually quite enjoyed rehearsal. Daine and I got to be up in the control room since we're lighting crew, and we're using this board thing with a million buttons on it that looks like a mixer in a recording studio. Damn cool :D if only our school had a theatre like that. I like being lighting crew!
Today I had to wake up early again, cause the teachers wanted to meet us 'for a short meeting' at school at 8am -____-
Turns out it was just to scold us, cause of some stuff that happened yesterday at rehearsal. We were dismissed at 9am. Went to class to do homework while waiting for L and T to finish their chem lesson. Ended up falling asleep with my head on the table and my phone blaring music. LOL I hope nobody poked their heads in and saw me.
Hilled down with L and T, and we went to the coffeeshop below Tania's house to buy nasi Kemal/nasi ayam and drinks, then went up to her house. Had lunch there together with her niece while watching Gong. The supporting male actor is even more shuai than the lead.
Watched tv and stalked people on fb until around 1.40pm, then L and I left. Went to t1 toilet, then took mrt to pasir ris. Went to interchange and boarded bus with Yy, Lifang, Faith and Yixuan. Can't remember when, but Jz, Chawit, Nigel and Janice joined us halfway, then the sec3 music juniors, and Mrs Sng. I know their names already. It's Yok Teng, Zijia, Vanessa and Puay Cher.
angelina's in the hospital. Hope she gets well soon! :/
Music masters class was interesting. Okay, maybe not so. Dr Eleanor Tan doesn't speak very loudly, so I was mostly just listening to the students play their pieces. In such a small group, I met Casey who's Lianne's friend, Jia Jing who's my primary school friend, and Gretchen, my brother's old classmate.
Spent my time there half-listening, half-doodling on my paper. Felt very empathetic when the 2nd girl came up to play and pretty much screwed up her piece, and the teachers there were all exchanging cringing looks. Can't they be more symphathetic about it? Some people like the girl and me just have stage fright, what's wrong with that? Cheh.
Went to Pasir Ris after the class with Yy, Lifang, Faith, Jz, Nigel. We had Subway! From now on, I'm not gonna eat at Subway unless it's the student meal. LOL
mrs Sng came soon after, then after she ate we all took mrt together. I went home, and they're probably at the hospital now visiting Angelina. Really hope everything goes well for her op! ): feeling guilty now for not going. I shall pray especially for her tonight :D
I may be uploading a video of me playing my piano arrangement of Love The Way You Lie here, or on fb, or both. And maybe a short compilation of my own songs. Not sure. You guys wanna see? LOL. Scared I receive anonymous critique, like on one especially horrible occasion. tag if you think I should

I never meant to do those things to you
Currently blogging using iPad. My dad bought one and My mom and I really don't see what's the point, especially since we already have an itouch, a desktop and two lappys. But okay fine I'll admit it's fun. LOL.
Ashthon Jones was booted off American Idol! I felt so sad yesterday when I watched her cry. She looked like she really didn't expect it, and honestly I think most people weren't expecting it either. Bottom 3 were Hailey, Karen and Ashthon. Now that it's it's clear Season 10 is packed with talent, AI this year has become a popularity contest.
There's Stefano, the cute guy all the girls love. And there's Paul with a smile to die for, and Scotty the tall country guy with a voice like a bass guitar. Jacob Lusk, with all his soul and emotion, and James Durbin, your crazy rocker. Lauren Alaina, blonde and bubbly, Thia Megia, the shy Asian girl. Casey Abrahms, the funny guy, Pia the brunette with a big voice, and Naima the funky woman who's young at heart.
Karen and Hailey have amazing voices, but they lack the star personality everyone wants to see. It broke my heart to see Ashthon leave though she wasn't one of my favorites. The judges always said she had a diva-like quality, but she kinda came off a little arrogant to me. Still sorry to see her go. I hope she gets signed like Chris Medina!
Anyways, I know you guys are probably annoyed that I keep talking about AI HAHA. It's really all the tv I watch these days, so you can't blame me for having no life!
March hols are finally here, but it's prob gonna come and go, sigh. We have to go back for extra lessons and one of them for me is a test on Electrolysis, wts. I think Singaporean kids these days are being over-stressed.
Had ptc yesterday and it wasn't actually that bad. JY told my mom I'll most likely do well for English for 'O's, yay. Mr Yong said I'm 'easily distracted' and I need to focus more in class, though my grades have improved a lot since last year. Mrs Sng said she's very happy with my results, though I don't understand why since my music percentage is 54%, HAHA. My mom after that was like 'pass only so happy.' LOL
I got mostly Bs this term -_____- sad life man.
Off to check out YouTube with the iPad.

The type of guy who doesn't see what he has until she leaves
Found my sec1 diary today and suddenly remembered a lot of funny 1F stuff after reading it, and felt so sad. My sec1 life was so easy and carefree, yet I didn't really treasure it D:
See, that's a good thing about keeping a diary. You can stack it away somewhere in a cupboard, then find it years later and be overcome with nostalgia. LOL. And possibly think, wow I didn't know my handwriting used to be that bad. Which was my first thought when I opened it.
Soo, this is the last week of Term 1. Week 10! Let's cherish our last week of t1, because it's really gonna get tough after that, hai. I also pray the teachers say nice stuff about me! (unlikely) My results this term are sucky, and I mean it.
Not that kinda person who goes 'Walao my results damn horrible, physics one more mark to a1 leh' or whatever -_______-
Today I listened to a lot of songs that used to be the songs I listened to the most back in sec1.
Don't you miss Aly and AJ, David Archuleta's old music, Jesse McCartney, Bowling For Soup, The All-American Rejects, Chris Daughtry and the Click Five?
And songs like Pictures Of You, A Little Too Not Over You, The Reason by Hoobastank, Take A Bow by Rihanna, Over You by Daughtry.
They probably made new music already, but nothing beats their old stuff.
I think the 90s to the early 2000s had awesome music. Boybands like NSync, Backstreet Boys, Dream Street, New Kids on the Block. Bands like Linkin Park and artists like Eminem were also slowly building up their fanbases.
Then in the early 2000s it just boomed, and later people just started abusing Autotune, which was invented in 1998 by some guy called Andy Hildebrand.
Death to Autotune!

I'll burn all two thousand square feet of it to the ground
Just finished watching American Idol. I know my favourite girl's name already, she's called Haley Reinhart. But actually I like most of the girls. There's Naima, former toilet cleaner, mother of two kids and one of the best I've heard on the show. Then you have Thia, the quiet but sweet 15-year-old, and Julie, your girly minidress girl, and all the rest.
For the guys, all my favourites got through except Brett ): Damn, that guy seems like he's got a great personality. James and Jacob did amazing, so it was kinda expected that they got top 10. I love the top 12 now, and I can't wait to see who wins.
Anywayz. This morning's chemlab experiment was kinda a disaster for me. I got sulfuric acid on my finger and it hurt like shit. It's like this burning sensation, and when you run it through water it hurts even more -_______-
Then I have no idea why, but my skin is really sensitive to anything so I started to itch a lot suddenly, especially on my arms. Probably not used to the sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide. Lastly, I spilt a styrofoam cup with 50cm3 of H2SO4 + NaOH inside it all over my lab table. Suay max.
Nearly got the thermometer soaked and damaged as well, if not for quick-thinking Kairong who grabbed it out of the mess immediately. THANKS (hope she doesn't read my blog or else she'll get bhb)
During music, Mrs Sng said that we are actually a really good bunch of students. Like when she tells us something wrong about us, we change it, and we also go the extra mile. (WE DO?!) So she's really happy about that, but she said when she tells our other teachers "I love my music students" (At this point, all of us awww-ed) they give her stunned looks and ask "Are those the same students I teach?"
HAHAHA.
Sooo, took a long time after school to decide where Lianne and I wanted to go for our TGIF. Nia didn't wanna come cause she wanted to go home and bathe, as usual. -shakes head-
Went to Orchard! At first I didn't really feel like it and kinda wanted to go home, but Lianne, being Lianne, insisted that we go since it's a Friday. Ate at something Ba Wang, and I got meesua which sucks ttm, in my opinion. Damn yucky, and I only managed to swallow half of it. My $3.80!
Visited Muji where I bought a plain, transparent pencil case. I love it! :D Muji is awesome. They have the most simple yet pretty stuff there, like the notebooks and the stationary. Spent quite a while there just testing out pen colours. SILVER! The security guard was keeping an eye on us in a very obvious way.
Damn what leh, two students buying stationary for school, cannot meh? We students have better things to do than shoplift. -flips hair-
Walked around and we went to Bershka. Lianne bought a 59.90 greyish bag. I said the grey colour was nice, and she gave me this o___o look and asked, "Isn't it blue??" LOL. I think one of us has a eyesight problem. That bag is a reward from her mom for getting 4 A1s for CA1 so far, walao -.- I also want! (Both the bag and the scores I mean)
I bought ice-cream and she bought muffins for her siblings. We went to this supposedly ulu stairs cause my ice-cream started to drip. Made me feel so pekchek because the ice-cream cone has holes in it! Wts. They should at least get better quality cones. So I had a really hard time eating the thing.
I wanted to say "Screw this ice-cream", but I don't know why it came out as the f-word. I only got as far as the f-word before I stopped cause I realised what I just said. And Lianne gave me this totally horrified look LOL
Final major stop, Zara. Went to pick clothes for each other to try on. She gave me this black romper and a horrible beige frilly dress, probably knowing that I can't stand both beige and frills. The cutting damn ugly somemore. Wonder who would ever buy that dress.
Home-d at close to 7pm. Saw my family friend's daughter on the train, and I didn't go say hi cause it's kinda awkward. And she didn't say hi to me either LOL so yeah, even though our fathers are best friends, like really best friends.
Anyway it's getting really late now so Imma go sleep.

But this is far from over- you haven't seen the last of me
Just finished reading Dirty Little Secrets by CJ Omalalu.
HAHA the author's surname damn cute can.
And the story is AHHHMAZING.
Very tragic, but it's just really meaningful.
It's about a girl with a mother who has an obsessive hoarding disorder, and so they live in a garbage dump house, quite literally. I like stories that are different.
Watching AI Season 10 later, till like midnight. Top 24 ftw! My favourites are Brett Loewenstern, James Durbin, Jacob Lusk and... I can't remember which girl(s) I like. LOL. But this morning Mrs Sng showed us a clip of James Durbin's Top 24 performance. He's 21, married with a kid, jobless, and has maddddd quality. Love love love his voice ttm. I'm a girl, and I would kill for a voice like that.
Best thing about him is that he really gives his all onstage. You can feel the passion he has for music, and it's just spectacular. (Wow I sound so Paula Abdul) I also get the impression that J Lo is tryna be like Paula Abdul. She keeps saying "Very nice!" in the awed way so I'm like -.- nice vocab, and doing dramatic things like Paula used to do. But I still like her. LOL.
Anywayz. Enough about American Idol, I know you just skipped that entire paragraph. The weeks have been flying by! I know I say that all the time, but heck, it's just watching a race car on the track. Funny thing is, we're all so damn busy, yet times just flies even though we're not having fun. Hmmm. My theory is that the earth is spinning faster. -strokes one's beard- Ain't it?
-change of topic- I suddenly remembered Parents' Day is coming up. Hai. Totally dreading it just like every other ahs student, unless you're a nerd with a clean record and straight As so you have absolutely nil to worry about. I can just imagine Peng Zhi telling my mother "Orh Zhuo Yi ah, shang ke yao zuan xin dian". I also hope, against all odds, that my mom doesn't meet Mrs Lam, or I'm dead shit.
Other than that, I'M A CLEAN NERD! -grins-
