I tried to look for The Black Parade but they weren't selling it in Hmv so I got Three Cheers instead. They're my two favourite Mcr albums. The Black Parade has a more polished sound, and Three Cheers is more like hard rock. But damnit I love both.

There was no one to share the joy with at that very blessed moment though. I was with Tania, Lianne, Emily and Zijun. Emily was telling me not to buy it and to just download everything, which I've actually already done hahaha.

The feeling of buying an album and having no one to turn to and scream to about it without being called a maniac is like giving birth a kid and crying tears of happiness, then you look up at the nurses and doctors and yell "I'M A MOMMY" and all of them just look at you and go, "Okay."

Bad analogy, I know.

Anywayz. I was gonna talk about my mom and how absofreakinglutely hilarious she is.

Today my dad cooked pig's skin. I was making gagging noises and my mom said without having looked at the dish, "Eat it. It's high in collagen, good for your skin." And I said "But it looks like snakes!" knowing full well my momma is pretty much fearless and snakes are her only exception.

She went, "Nonsense!" and looked down at the plate. I'm telling you, her expression when she realised how right I was, was priceless. Then she started laughing and half-heartedly scolding my dad for cutting it up like that. It tasted just as revolting as it looked. -gag-

That's one of the few good things about being chinese; you get to grow up eating exotic foods. Nasty. Yes, we chinese eat just about everything that's four-legged, except for tables. Our language is an art that I am still struggling to master.

I'm digressing. So at dinner my mom told us about how at her school, there's a prayer room for the muslims, and she was unaware the school had recently relocated it to a corner of the teachers' lounge. So one day she was with a colleague in the staff lounge and they were alone there, just doing paperwork.

Then suddenly they heard a voice murmuring. Instantly they looked up and exchanged horrified looks, then they ran out of the room and stood outside talking about it. Then they jumped when the door opened and a muslim colleague came out, apologising for having disturbed them.

HAHAHAHA. Totally lol-worthy.

I'm so bored. Today I found out Mcr only wrote five songs off Danger Days. Made me a lil disheartened, cause I always had great respect for singers who write their own songs and can make em sound good, all in different ways. Like Ne-Yo and Claude Kelly.

Doubt you'll care, but the songs they wrote are Na Na Na, Bulletproof Heart, Save Yourself I'll Hold Them Back, Party Poison and The Only Hope For Me Is You. Thankfully they're all the songs I prefer from Danger Days, aside from SCARECROW. That one is freaking awesome, it's my favourite next to SYIHTB. And I never really liked Planetary (GO!) or Kids From Yesterday. Vampire Money and Destroya are okay-ish, but I prefer SING and Summertime to them.

I hope they get really good inspiration for their next album, cause I know it's not gonna be easy. They're getting more and more mainstream every album. Mixed feelings about it.

Somewhere downtown where a burlesque queen may even ask my name

Happy birthday Ray Toro! The awesomest bestest dude-with-the-affro lead guitarist of an amazing band. I think you can guess which band that is. Heeeee.

I was watching videos of that particular band yesterday and it was amazing. There was a video where Gee let Mikey speak into the mike and the crowd just went wild. And he just said in that quiet voice, "Hi everybody- (looks at Gerard) What are you wearing?" lmao. All the comments on that video were like 'He talks! Mikey Way talks!" So true. And I loooooved the way Gee yelled "MIKEY F***ING WAY."

One day, I swear, I will buy that 'Mikey Fucking Way' shirt they sell on the official Mcr website.

Ohoh and there was this video where Mikey looked straight at Bob Bryar with this impish smile as he declared, "You know what's Bob's screen name? Bobsdick." And Bob had this omgwtf face and Mikey walked away down the corridor still grinning at Bob, then Bob cracked up. It was such an epic moment. Then to make things even better, Bob said to the camera, loud enough for Mikey to hear, "Wanna know what's Mikey Way's phone number? It's, uh," and then you hear Mikey yelling in horror from a distance, "NOO-OOO."

Oh man. <3

And there was another video made by a fan who mashed up different videos of Mcr together, so that it forms a really funny conversation.

Interviewer: "So what turns you on?"

Andandand, which Mcr fan could possibly resist watching a tiny clip from the Download Festival 2007? The one where Frerard was at its peak and Frankie kissed Gee. Nawwwww. I know it sounds really really wrong, but I think they were just playing around, though most guys don't exactly kiss each other on the lips very often... But well. Frankie just grabbed Gee and attacked him. And Gee had his hands in Frank's hair before he looked like he realised what he was doing and pulled away. HAHA.

Anywayz. I decided to blog for no particular reason. The first week of school is over; I guess it was okay. I like the new timetable, actually. Oh and I only have two prelim 2 papers left. Amath and physics. I feel like time is flying by so quickly. In about four months' time I'll sit for my 'O's, then I'll be preparing to leave school. Just like that, it's been four years in Ahs. I mean, where did the time go??

But honestly, I wouldn't change much if I could relieve it all over again. I think the past four years have been great. I'll miss everything. The thought of starting all over again in a new school... :/ There's that thrill that comes along with it, but I think most of us will just feel apprehensive about the whole thing.

What am I saying? Haha. Moving on. The other day I woke up from one of my afternoon naps and I think I experienced night terror. But it was strange though, I wasn't really scared or anything, as opposed to night 'terror'. But I did feel like everything was very surreal. There was this nightmarish quality about everything I saw at that time, and it was like being in a nightmare you can't seem to wake up from.

So I got really confused, like is this a dream? Then I was brushing my teeth and looking in the mirror, and I looked extremely calm, not at all what I was feeling at the moment. I started panicking and that was when everything got worse. I started feeling like there was more than one voice inside my head, and one of them in particular, was drowning out the rest. Everything inside my head was screaming.

Boy, you have no idea what I felt like. I thought I was losing it. It seriously scared the shit out of me. And I know it sounds stupid, but that voice just started screaming about the most random things, like, what am I doing here? That kinda thing. You're probably thinking I'm some kind of a freak now, but really. It was horrible. I have no idea why that even happened to me.

So I called my parents because I was home alone and wanted to hear human voices, and I just asked about the most random things like 'Are you buying dinner home?' and I tried to sound normal. I mean what was I supposed to say, I think I'm going crazy? But I still felt like I was living in a nightmare. It was only after they came home that everything slowly went back to normal.

Weirddddd. Maybe I wasn't sleeping properly and that obstructed my blood flow or something. Yeah.
