quick update on life
finally back from canada, after a very fun and chill 2 weeks there. it was great experiencing relaxed city life there and then going on a road trip to seattle (USA), and across canadian provinces to banff and jasper. i took so many photos im kinda dreading uploading them all hahhaa
i love canada! the people are amazing and the scenery 10/10. only thing is the country is so big everything is very spread out so half the time we were just driving on the road to get from one attraction to another. and i got sick of having american food every day very quickly. also didn't see any bears or moose :( i did see elk, marmots, ravens, cute squirrels and a small coyote though. huhu
basically this year has been super happening. very very thankful to be able to travel again and pretty much resume life almost like it were pre-covid.
this month, especially is crazy. we went off to canada in late sep, i turned 27 while there and now im back in sg for a week until i fly off again to north america for work. the day after im back around 11pm, im bridesmaid-ing for tania (woohoo!!!).
my house reno has also concluded! it's ahead of schedule. we were expecting it to be done almost 1 month later. so i've been bz looking at furniture, planning to buy stuff, etc. there's so much more work to moving in to your own place aside from the fun things, for example learning what's WD-40 and turpentine, and how to get a broadband subscription. and can someone summarize for me the difference between the 1001 models these washing machine and vacumn cleaner companies have?! hahaha
can't believe i'm another year older. this birthday was particularly special cos it's the first time i was overseas on a birthday, and also my first birthday being married! grateful for all that i have, for good health (oh yes, finally saw a dermatologist for my lip problem and apparently i have eczema?? it's under control now thank goodness), and for amazing family and friends.
rn, am looking forward to moving in to my new home :)
