featherblade to celebrate sherwin's friend's bday. i love featherblade for their affordable and consistently good steaks!

woke up at 4.30 to catch our flight to KL...
off to KLIA!! had this lil getaway with the jc kids to genting and KL in mid aug

we stayed at skyworld hotel. i loved it! it was cute and hip. great service, amenities in the room were great
worst meal ever. if you're going to genting do not step into the trattoria place LOL everything was so bad
indoor theme park was not too bad but felt a lil claustrophobic
i sat out for 2 rides LOL
i think we were v lucky cos the weather was great when we went!
BIAP in the cold weather truly hit different. damn shiok

but no toilet door. alot of "don't come in ah
multiple hooks on hotel bathroom walls need to be a thing

the room apparently had no aircon, just a ceiling fan. but it was still quite cooling and we all slept well
outdoor theme park day! i surprisingly rly enjoyed it

we played some carnival games and there was this stall with super cute hamster plushies. we spent a bit and the stallowner said if we played one more game, she would give us one toy whether we won or not, so...
george is super cute but he was damnnnn troublesome to bring home to sg. LOL
and i had to put him through the baggage scanners...

felt like there was nth much at chinatown tho
went to some seafood place for dinner
food was quite meh. tho my tomyum mac and cheese was decent
went to ming ann confectionary to buy stuff home where we cleared out half the bakery LOL
watched some super old chinese movie at night... storm and cloud dk what LOL
went back to play escape rm at berjaya haha

a quick bkt. we rushed to collect our baggage and head to the airport after this. fortunately our flight was a lil delayed

went to NUS to collect the PA system we rented. v nostalgic to see the YIH study room where i spent so many hours of my uni life
SIL made my wedding bouquet!! i love it sm
my MUA was amazing and a super nice lady too!
loved my hair! only thing i think i shld have asked for centre parting instead of my usual (left). and the curls didn't look as good after awhile cos of the sweat (took some photos in the outdoor heat) plus my hair is naturally limp and lifeless

tried Shifudo with sherwin next day. wanted to go for buffet but everywhere was full
my first time trying tuna belly. i had high expectations cos everyone says it melts in the mouth, blabla. but it was meh? the hamachi was way nicer. i think my tastebuds not cultured enough LOL
tried Hakata with my colleagues for lunch. my yaki udon was yummyyy
gave mao a shirt and she seems to rly like it
BBQ Friend (srgn) was nice and service was awesome. totally recommendz
had a medical appt so i reached home early. seeing the sun so bright on a work day was such a treat
lightning struck a tree next to the bus stop i was at omg
i miss when bus rides were 45c
