"This is Spider. He's replacing you."
"Dude, you could be the ugliest sad sack on the planet, but if you're in a rock band, you're the cat's pajamas, man. You're the bee's knees."
I love Dewey Finn!
And did I mention that I really like James Durbin? His cover of Maybe I'm Amazed makes me amazed. His voice reminds me of older singers from the 70s or something. I think this guy is gonna go places, if only more people would listen to him. I really hope he doesn't sell out or something though. Big waste of talent if he does.
I've kinda lost my motivation to blog recently. Maybe I'll get it back after the big 'O's. Ahwell.

"It's, uh, a rare blood disease. Stick-to-da-man-niosis."
(In the classroom, watching time tick away as the children sit quietly)
Dewey Finn: "Ugh. Just... go out and have recess."
Summer: "My parents don't spend fifteen thousand dollars a year for recess!"
Dewey Finn: "Fine. You wanna learn something? You want me to teach you something?"
Summer: "Mm-hm."
Dewey Finn: "Give up. Just quit. Because in this life, you can't win. Yeah, you can try, but in the end, you're just gonna lose, big time, because THE WORLD is run by the Man."
Frankie: "Who?"
Dewey Finn: "The Man. Oh, you don't know the Man? Well he's everywhere. In the White House, down the hall, MISS MULLINS, she's the Man.
And the Man ruined the ozone, and he's burning down the Amazon, and he kidnapped Shamu and put her in a chlorine tank!
There used to be one way to stick it to the Man, it was called rock 'n' roll. But guess what? Oh, no. The Man ruined that too with a little thing called MTV!
So don't waste your time trying to make anything cool, or pure, or awesome, because the Man's just gonna call you a fat, washed-up loser and crush your soul. So do yourselves a favour, AND JUST GIVE UP!"
-Miss Mullins enters classroom-
Miss Mullins: "Mr. Schneebly?"
Dewey Finn: "OH."
Miss Mullins (coldly): "It's after ten. On Tuesdays, the children have music class."
Dewey Finn: "Oh, um, good work people, we will continue our lecture on the Man when we return. Have a good music class."
