Sugar, we're goin' down swinging

I'M GOIN' ON A HIATUS.

Sorry everyone. Don't miss me too much aight. The next five weeks are probably gonna be the five longest of my life so far. But I will make it! Five weeks will come, and five weeks will go, in just 182 blinks of an eye!

Weather's starting to turn chilly and usually this is the time when I start to get all the Christmas songs from this CD that my dad plays every Christmas stuck in my head. One of my all-time favourites is December Will Be Magic Again by Kate Bush.

Gotta love Christmas. It's a time of hot chocolate, green, red and silver everywhere, thick sweaters, water heaters and cosy cafes.

So here's when I decided to heck chem for a while, and... chem-whore. (sorry couldn't resist)

Love yall. Happy Halloween in advance!

Who are you now

It's been a great day.

Had our last ever assembly in the morning, then class bonding time for an hour. Ms Wong took the time to tell us our strengths which was really random but funny.

I'm really grateful for a teacher like her because she really cares about us and you can really see how dedicated she is. Like I've had nice and great teachers before but no one's actually walked the extra extra mile like she did (yes I typed extra twice) and she's always telling us that character is a lot more important than grades. So yeah. Definitely gonna miss her. And all our other very quirky subject teachers, J1 teachers included.

Honestly I have to admit I'm not proud of my school and I don't think I'll ever be, but you can't change things and I've come to terms with it, after a little less than two years of being here. It's not so bad, the food's ok haha and the teachers are actually really good, well at least mine were, lucky me. I have a lot of acquaintances and friends in the school but I'm not close to most of them, but I guess it'll be sad not getting to see the same familiar friendly faces every day.

I remember when I first came in and I was so miserable about my lot that I managed to dragged myself to the school for the first day, then skipped the rest of orientation. I can't really remember what I did but I think I spent the few days being depressed about the whole idea of going to a school I never thought I would end up in for the next two years.

Then we got our class allocations and 12S16 turned out to be a really fun class with good people in it, so it's ok. J1 was a great year, honestly. I don't think I've worked and played so hard in any other year.

So yesh, I've graduated from junior college. Kind of hard to believe it. Like, time really, really flies. I feel so old all of a sudden. Feels like just yesterday when we were exchanging numbers on the first day of school in sec1.

I just came home a few hours ago from my run with Jiams (had prata and iced milo yumz) so I'm super tired. Also, the weather is terrible and I am craving some tauhuay.

Time stands still

Tiring day.

As long as there's econs in it, it's a tiring day.

I realise I got Ds for econs and gp which are both arts subjects and the only arts I take. Haha. Really not an arts person.

So in total I had two hours of chem, two hours of physics and 4.5 hours of econs today. Is that enough to excuse me from any more studying tonight? :(

Most important fact of the day is that tonight (okay maybe right now) is BMTH's concert in Singapore at the Coliseum, the exact same venue I caught All Time Low at. I totally regret choosing not to go for it. Like if I'd planned for it a month ago when tickets were just out then if I could rewind time I would go but now that I know that there's still tickets left I don't want to, because it's too last-minute :(

But thing is a month ago I imagined myself studying really hard for As which are in 3 weeks from now so I thought I probably shouldn't go for the concert and now I realise I can actually go for it because I probably won't be doing anymore work tonight. What a waste. The feeling sucks. I is really sad.

Oh and Christine met BMTH at the Starbucks she was studying at like what the hell how is anyone that lucky? She's not even as big a fan as I am (HAHA I'm sorry Christine do know that I still love you), this is injustice I demand a rewind of time so I can like skip school and actually be right there waiting to tackle them once they set foot in that Starbucks.

Life is horrible :(((( And no one in school was there to feel my pain. I know like three people who listen to them and they were all classes and schools away.

Well, thank God for Youtube. I hope people actually upload some videos.

(edit)
Omg tomorrow is the last day of official school. I think I'm... 25% sad and 75% happy?
If you think deeper, it's our last day of school as a student attached to an institution. Last day of school in a uniform, baggy and awkward as some people's (mine) might be...
Last day of being in a classroom with a bunch of familiar, standard (and bored) faces.
Last day of being an official TPJ student. Can't say I'm terribly upset about that, though. (sorry not sorry)

Coffee

Hi again.

Graduation is this friday. That is way too soon. That means two days left of school since tomorrow is a public holiday, then two weeks of study break, three weeks of A levels and then bam. My JC life is over, just like that. I'll be free to do all my favourite things to do- play basketball, write, read, sketch, go jamming, listen to music, youtube, travel... omg just the thought of it makes me feel like jumping up and doing a happy dance.

Still undecided on if I want to work after As. But I want to take up drumming so I'll probably have to get a job. And I definitely need extra cash to spend. Ahhhhhhh. Eggcited.

Also, I still don't know what I want to study / want to be in the future. Someone told me today that she's going to do badly and if she does, she'll enlist in the army. Haha what.

Six weeks guys. We got this.

And my words are as timed as the beating in my chest

My blog stats have suddenly shot up. It's really weird. Either someone's stalking me, or I've suddenly become net-popular in the past week. I think the former's more likely. I think the stalker might be the professional stalker Jiams.

I am really tired so I don't have the energy to mug (just came back from our friday run) but I still have like 5% left for a little blog post.

Let's start with where I last updated. Ok so we had school on wednesday. Oh I remember now, it was the horrible day. Had chem where I was just doing physics for the whole one and a half hours, and then we had break, then econs. Econs tutorials always drain the life out of me. I don't remember much from econs tutorials except furiously taking down notes while Ms wong goes like a bullet.

After another short break we had physics. Then a few of us had compulsory econs consultation and that was my least favourite part of the day because we had a surprise econs case study to complete in exam time and my brain was already dying so I just dawdled and wrote really little and I felt really dumb while ms wong went through the answers because I couldn't follow and everyone was answering her questions and whenever it got to me I would just freeze and she'd be like "I'll get back to you" and I'd just shrivel up a little more every time.

Thursday was better, fortunately. We had econs and math and everything ended at 12.30pm. Went home and played guitar and again procrastinated. So yeahh there's my past few days in a nutshell.

I'm really poofed. Eyes are half-closed haha good night my little pumpkins (That reminds me, Halloween's just around the corner ooh)

Life is what happens while you're busy making your excuses

1. My spirit animal is Cameron Hurley.

2. I sometimes think it might be possible for me to have an emotional breakdown during an econs exam.

3. I have had tea (caffeine) today and later received news that school will end at 5.30pm tomorrow. I will be a walking, talking zombie by the end of the next day.

4. I'm on a self-ground rule till the end of As. Please don't ask me out guys (and girls). Okok kidding, I meant that on a 'everyone' basis.

5. Oh and friday evening runs with wums are an exception. (Haha wums sounds like a dog here. In case you're new here, she's my human best friend)

6. I am full of nonsense tonight.

7. Half of the reason why I'm blogging is I don't want to study econs just yet :( #procrastination

8. As you can probably tell already, I'm going through a hate phase with econs right now. Hopefully it'll pass.

9. Okok I'll leave now goodbye

The summer was full of mistakes we wouldn't learn from

Hi

Out of my house and at Tamp's CBTL because I forgot my auntie was coming over and she talks a lot so I can't concentrate. Chose the wrong day to skip school.

I was reading econs and nothing seems to be going in so I'm doing physics instead. Been feeling really hopeless for econs and then I got a text from Sj saying I have 70+ RPs and I'm top but we haven't gotten back econs so far so maybe they received the papers today which means I may not have done as badly for econs prelims as I feared! Yay but of course it could be a typo on her part or something hahaha if it is im gonna kill her

Ok physics time goodbye
(apologise for all the really short posts lately)

Watching, waiting, commiserating

Hello wello yellow

Been really unproductive these past few days. I keep going out and procrastinating and surfing the Net.

33 days to As and 52 till the end. Omg where does the time go?

Haha sorry I think my blog's really boring these days but I really don't have a life anymore hahaha. Can't wait for another 52 days. It feels so surreal, like... 52 days. That's basically in no time at all.

Ermmmmm.

I have nothing else to say, actually. Maybe I'll go on a hiatus soon :(

Oh yes, do leave a comment. I'm really curious as to who reads my blog. Haha. I have about 800 views a month and I know about 5 or 6 people who read my blog, tops. Assuming they check up on me every day, that's a whopping 150 views from them. Who are all the other 650? Hm

Came a time when every starfall brought you to tears again

Well guys, this is it. My last hour of being seventeen. What is air?

Nothing much to say, really. I can't believe I'm actually going to be legal in just one hour.

18. Legal. Now where's the fun in that?

Hmmmm. Seventeen was a good year. I think most of it was spent on school and work actually, haha. Like I honestly can't remember the last time I just went out shopping or to catch a movie without all my books and without any intention of mugging (aside from those couple of days we take as breaks after every major exam period).

I had more sleepovers in this year than I ever had in my entire life, went jamming more than I ever had my entire life, plucked up the guts to perform onstage, made new friends and lost a lot of friends and became more independent and (hopefully) more mature. Heh heh.

I got drunk for the first time ever (interesting experience) and I guess overall, I had fun this year. Of course all the real fun will begin after A levels, but right now... I think I can safely say it's been a great year.

But I don't wanna turn 18 nooooooo like seriously it sounds so uncool to be 18. Btw in the US, youngsters can move out and get jobs once they turn 18. And look what we're doing now haha. I feel so baby-ed as a Singaporean but I guess it's sort of a good thing. Honestly I'm not very proud of my culture, but what I can do? I'm just glad I was born into a really safe and small country and most importantly, I've people who love and care for me.

Anyway, I'm kind of digressing.

Oh ya, do you ever wonder who actually reads your blog? Like I was looking at my stats and realised they've kind of increased. 100+ reads from Singapore alone, in just one week. Where are all you creepy stalkers coming from?! Who knows, maybe I have an old teacher reading my blog or a distant relative like a cousin or a second cousin secretly checking up on me every day.

Ooh that reminds me, I think I've told this story before on here but once in sec3 or sec4 when we were in the music room for music class, I saw our teacher had some Internet explorer tabs open and one of them had my then-blog title, which was Skylines and Turnstiles. And I was just about to blurt out, "Omg Mrs Sng you've been listening to My Chemical Romance??" when I saw the Blogger icon up there next to the title and I realised it was MY BLOG.

I completely freaked out hahaha. And was like "Mrs Sng, WHY are you stalking me?" And she was like "oh... oops haha" -Awkward moment-

Shit, this is it, really. Last hour. And IM GONNA SPEND IT........... doing a math paper.

Bye and good night! x
