amazing waterfall. the sound alone was scary

we kept commenting that canadian crows were huge (literally the size of a small dog) and we later realised its cos they were ravens, not crows. haha

after hot hub, we wanted to stargaze, so sherwin drove SIL and i to the well-known stargazing spot which is apparently some lake. but we chickened out and drove back halfway because it was freaking dark and scary. we were driving deeper and deeper into the woods with no lake in sight. felt like anything could come out of the trees.
after outlet shopping we waited a long time before finally getting into uno beef noodles. super good noodle place that definitely satisfied our asian food craving

we stayed in grand hyatt and there was nothing to do around the area cos we weren't near downtown. so we kinda holed up in the same place for 3 days and uber-ed our meals... it was quite sad
went to a macs on our first day which didn't feel all that safe
we wisened up and shared a meal on our last day of conference. good choice too
we then moved to aloft downtown which was very nice

got 2 hours of sleep and then woke up at 6am for tania's gatecrash
so happy for tania!!! 💕💕 it's always such a special feeling seeing your friends on their big day especially the ones you grew up with.
