March

i don't have many pictures but today is one of the rare times i feel like blogging hahah soo.

first, shall do some questions again:

1. What is the TDLR version of your life?

angsty teenager now comes with woke salaryman mask

2. What should they teach in school, but don't?

history. and i mean world history, and geography too. not just localized fishing village-to-prosperous city history that honestly in the global context, does not matter one bit. i guess knowing our roots and how we got to where we are today is great for building national identity but it doesn't help us at all on the international stage, which is where we need to be today. it might be okay for some people in a big country like the US or china to remain frogs at the bottom of the well, but for a tiny island like sg that relies heavily on international relations and supposedly prides itself on churning out a highly skilled/educated workforce, it's detrimental for so many young people to not understand the world outside our borders at all.

3. What inscription do you want on your gravestone?

Lol im ded

4. What is a cause that is worth dedicating your life to?

actlly i think there are a lot... like helping the underprivileged, being a police officer and keeping the community safe etc. all noble causes

5. What should parents stop teaching their children?

to be wasteful/ to be hateful

6. Is it okay to sacrifice one life to save ten?

it depends on who it is. a good guy for 10 pedophiles? i say bye pedos.

7. How much do you change when you know no one is around?

not a lot i think?

8. How useful would you be in a zombie apocalypse?

average prolly. i can try to help think of escapes but i don't have physical strength or self-defense skills :/

9. How much do you know about the world outside your country?

it depends.. i have alot of random facts but i don't think im good at historical details

10. Which movie or book do you think is ridiculously overrated?

the matrix, james bond movies (but i've only seen the later ones)

11. Who would you most like to sit next to on a 10 hour flight and why?

don't have anyone in mind now actually haha

12. What are two things you know you should know how to do but don't?

cook, and do public speaking

13. What is something you've done that you wish you could undo?

prolly certain words said in the heat of the moment

14. What do most people think about you that is absolutely not true?

hmm. that i never get angry? although i gotta say i am v v rarely outwardly angry.

15. What is something that can't be taught and can only be learned with age?

how to multitask and prioritize. how to be punctual. how to be content with life and make the best out of what we have

16. Do you think the convenience of technology is worth the loss of privacy that comes with it?

not really.

17. What are the consequences of everyone having instant distraction at their fingertips?

shorter attention span. shorter memory retention. less sincerity and less living in the moment.

18. What makes you say "What was I thinking?" when you look back on your life?

fashion sense lol

19. If you could live your life again knowing what you do now, what would you change?

travelled even more!! now we are all stuck here :(

20. You have $100 to burn, all your friends are busy and you have the whole day to yourself, what do you do?

go out for a good meal and buy something i want

21. If you could be born again and choose what nationality, gender and race to be, what would you choose?

maybe some kind of pacific islander, or a white girl in germany/switzerland/any scandi country.
