Step Up 3 = awesome

hello :D

i didn't go school today,
neither did my brother.
woke up feeling like it was holidays already!
went to bathe and whatever,
then met lianne and tania at century square.
ate pepper lunch, then went to watch Step Up 3 :D

IT WAS AWESOMEEEEEE.

at the part where Luke
was topless, lianne wolf-whistled.
the row in front of us laughed. LOL.
omgawd, i sat there throughout the movie,
dying to know Luke's real name.
then it came out at the credits:
Rick Malambri. i was like O_O OMG.
(if you don't understand,
check out my previous post entitled hot guys /pam)
i never knew it was him! so shocked.

anyway, the choreography was great
seriously great :D
maybe a leeeetle repetitive.
like in almost all the dances,
there's people being spinned around,
or the spin-yourself-on-your-hands move.
throw in some awesome dancers,
like MOOSE <3 and Sharni Vinson and Rick Malambri,
and you get a great dance movie :D

Rick Malambri's face is still stuck in my head.
ohoh and the San Diego (?) twins were funny hahaha.
the robot-move guy was hilarious.
the kids were cute.
aww and i love how they brought back some characters
from Step Up 2 :D like Mari Koda and that braces guy.
but where's Step Up 1's crew? D:
i want more Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan.

oh and before entering the cinema,
i saw sharlene, jz and kimberxz buying tickets.
and i jokingly said to lianne:
what if they enter the same cinema as us
and sit right next to us?
and guess what.
yes, when we went in,
we saw them in the seats right next to ours o_o
coincidental much, haha.

aaaaah, i love Step Up 3.
in fact, i love Step Up 1, Step Up 2 and Step Up 3.
everytime i finish watching a dance movie,
i get the urge to go get my own crew
and learn dance! LOL.

hello!

back from church/band prac.
yeah i went for sarah's church musical thing.

met lianne and tania at city hall inter,
then walked for like 20min to mac's.
met sarah, headed to Pizza Hut to eat.
for more info check out lianne/tania's blogs haha
when they update.

then we went to the auditorium,
met andrew there.
our seating order by random:
andrew, sarah, lianme, tania, me.
on my right was tania,
on my left was this huge guy
who muttered something in my direction,
and i decided he was creepy. hahaha.

so i got over, decided to take andrew's seat
next to sarah, since he wasn't there at the time.
who knew that tania would suddenly grab my wrist
and refuse to let me go over!

so a struggle ensued,
during which i knocked a guy's head in front,
stepped on and injured tania's foot by accident
and got quite a few curious stares.
in the end tania let me go once
sarah asked her to change seats with her,
because she figured out tania didn't wanna sit with andrew.

the musical thing was quite okay bah.
short but sweet.
then there was the song and sermon part.
didn't sing along, just stood there LOL.

finally it ended,
we went out and walked all the way to the studio,
located at Sultan Plaza or something,
some ulu building or mall i guess.
took like half an hour to walk o_o
reached there, it seemed quite a scary place,
even though the man in charge seemed nice enough.

you can tell by the way he went on and on
about rock and metal bands
even though lianne, tania and i
politely hinted that we didn't know what he was talking about,
that he's a very passionate about rock music.

anyway the place is pretty small,
smaller than most other studios i think.
walao, the band in the room across ours
had a good band but a horrible lead singer.
don't accuse me of being mean,
but i'm serious when i mean horrible.

it's like to the extent of whining.
you can barely tell he's singing.
what's more, that band was playing
Face Down and American Idiot!
such great songs, yet they don't know
how to make good use of them D: LOL.
i soumd mean now. ahem.

anyway after a short while, jx came.
played our own parts for a while.
it's hilarious to have mikes that echo.
so halfway when we subconsciously
shout something or groan or whatever,
the sound will echo in the mike.
hahaha.

i can barely hear my keyboard,
among all the noise. -shrug-
oh and jx turns out to be quite
a good drummer, contrary to my belief. heh.

was quite flattered and surprised
to find out i have a hidden talent... rapping!

i was randomly fooling around
with Remember The Name,
because i really like the echoing-effect mike.
and lianne and tania and sarah's faces were like o_o
and lianne said she likes it!
and after i finished, everybody started
clapping and laughing, even andrew & jx!

bought iced milo, wanted to watch a movie haha.
but it was too late and there wasn't much to watch,
so we went home instead.

today was pretty okay-ish, close to awesome,
with the exception of a few minor stuffs :/
the day started off with amath!
found out that i was the only passer
in my mini amath class :D 8/15, LOL.
was quite happy until i went back to the rest of 3L,
and realised everybody else got about 10-12.

for english, mrs yeo asked those who didn't do her compo
to just go out and do on the lockers until we finished.
(hah, what's new?)
actually i could be excused since i'd already done
7 questions out of 9, but i went out anyway.
the board is always better from a different point of view :D

zhenying, lifang, yy, junzhong, nigel & charles
(i think that's all?) were out there too.
finished compo and sat on the corridor floor after that,
chatting and looking at yy's 2009 yearbook.
laughed at the guys who looked weird,
ogled the ones who looked good.
(mostly graduated already, depressing much)

then mrs yeo's loud voice came from inside:
"where are the people i sent out ah!"
and all of us immediately stood up,
so to the people inside it looked like
all our faces were popping out from nowhere,
and they started laughing.

elit was prettaye mundane.

ate with the usuals for recess,
then for emath we got back our tests.
i got 24/30, quite lousy compared to the rest of the class.
modal range (LOL) is like 26-29 :/

then we had double music!
there was a Romantic/20th-century Eras test D:
ended the test in a state of depression.
i thought a Jazz piece was a Musical.

mrs sng let us go at about 1230pm, surprisingly.
roamed around with lifang and yy,
then we had lunch.
lifang dumped her noodles and ran off to find some teacher o_o
blahblahblah, at around 2pm we finally left the canteen,
went up to ex-1F (currently 1 Perseverance, which sounds totally lame)
classroom with the two of them and faith and slacked for fun.
played music, watched mvs, wrote on their whiteboard.
time flew and at 245pm we went down to wait for the bus.

boarded bus, i sat with janice
while lifang and yy sat right in front of us.
the bus ride to Pasir Ris Crest was spent
listening to janice tell her lamest jokes. LOL.
for some inexplicable reason,
i find this funny.
Q: What do you get when you mix one portion of Barium
and two portions of Sodium?
A: BaNaNa.

HAHAHAHA.

anyway, the music finals were really great!
i think the bands were awesome.
i especially liked this one called Music Movers,
from Telok Kurau Sec.
instead of using the drumset like all the other bands,
this one chose to have a dude beatbox o_o
so you have this guy beatboxing,
two girls harmonising,
another guy playing the acoustic guitar,
and a girl playing the tambourine or something.
i swear, the effect is awesome.

the girls totally rocked it!

i kinda forgot the results already.
i know our school had representatives
in all three categories:
Solo Pop voice, Rock Band, Classical Piano.
this ahs sec2 guy with a voice like a soprano-alto's
got 3rd (out of 5) for the Solo Pop one.
and i think Junzhong got 3rd for Classical Piano.
Paranoia didn't win, but they were still good (:
there were technical glitches D:

but after the concert,
i asked yy and lifang to see if
there was anything on my skirt.
and at first they said no,
then suddenly they were like EH?.
and they looked again and their eyes widened
and they were like omg.
and my heart totally omg-ed too.

then after some debating,
they asked me to fold my skirt to cover it up.
at that point, people were already looking our way.
so i hurriedly folded about two or three times,
right at the sidelines of the hall,
when many people were still leaving the hall T.T
as i folded, some girl looked at me suspiciously.

then while we rushed around looking for a toilet,
lifang took pictures of me in my horribly short skirt.
it was super uncomfortable.
try wearing a skirt only halfway down your thighs
while you're still in a packed school.
self-conscious ttm.
saw a few people looking at my skirt
and it was quite obvious they thought
i was some ahs bimbo, which i am not! -sobs-

when we got to the toilet,
i went in and saw a drop of blood on a toilet seat!
gross man. that girl should at least clean it up -.-
then when i walked out of that cubicle
without having used that toilet,
a girl walking past with her friends
walked into that toilet.
she took one look at the seat
and gave a sound of disgust.
before she could conclude it was me,
i blurted out 'not me, not me.'

and she was like o_o
and they laughed and said okay.
whew, what friendly people.
while washing my skirt,
a girl came up and washed her hands next to me.
she smiled and said 'what happened, blood ah'
then i said yeah rather sheepishly.
can't remember if it was that girl,
one of her friends or just another girl.

but anyway hence i conclude:
Pasir Ris Crest girls are friendly.

finally went out,
blablahblah, left PRCS with yy and lifang,
got to Pasir Ris Interchange with them,
yy left to go home, lifang and i
had dinner at the new Japanese food place there.
it was great cause they were blasting
R&b hits nearby on the speakers!
one of them was Hate That I Love You
by Rihanna ft. Ne-Yo! :D

went to Comics Collection for a while,
then left (:

watching MTV Hip-hop Hits now :D

tomorrow's gonna be a really long day.
there's chem remedial at school in the morning,
piano lesson after that at 11pm Eastpoint,
meeting sarah and the others at 1pm Suntec,
watching her church's musical The Fallen at 3,
band meetup after that till prob about 10 or 11pm.

are either having their own concerts
or aren't active currently.

cmon, a BB concert won't be perfect

were up there when Yonghwa suddenly happened to
look up in our direction, & we waved
and HE WAVED BAAAAAAAACK! -fangirl mode-

2) i hate those girls who cried and begged
for Yonghwa/Minhyuk/Jonghyun autograph tickets
because they were so-called suay enough to get Jungshin's.

3) a girl hugged Yonghwa and got endless screams from the crowd. -envious ttm-

6) i managed to stand about 2m away from them

totally made me swear to myself

the weirdest/funniest/scariest thing just happened.

okay anyway lianne and tania are at my house now.
just now, we were at kfc having lunch.
and there was this malay girl and her boyfriend,
queueing for food.
and while i went to wash my hands,
lianne said to tania:
"if he is her..."
she wanted to say
"if he is her boyfriend,
then how come we don't have any boyfriends?"
because that girl is not so good-looking
compared to the boyfriend who is not bad.

but lianne cut off,
because the girl turned around and looked at her o_o
and she whispered to her boyfriend,
who turned and looked at them too!
and when i came back they told me about it,
and we noticed they really kept looking at us,
with the qianbian/slap-me face.

and later when they went to their seats,
they also kept turning to look at us!

then we kept discussing that we should
do faces at them/glare at them.
and we kept laughing about random things along the way.

so we could see her reaction again.

lianne turned and saw me doing it

and we ran to the lift
and laughed like crazy.

then we went to Popular,

and now they're at my house.

anyway, this weekend was pretty good :D
on Saturday i went for piano,
came back and watched Big Bang's Documentary till 1am.
it really, really made me see them all in a different light.

i saw how Jiyong worked harder than anyone else
to prove his worth as a leader,
and how Youngbae felt eternally overshadowed
by his successful childhood friend Jiyong.
and Big Seunghyun, trying to get into shape,
trying to lose his chubby-ness,
struggling with his poor dancing skills.
Daesung, facing constant pressure and
having to live a tiring lifestyle
due to his oppressive father
who strongly objected to his love for singing.
Maknae Seunghyun, trying as hard as he can
to match up to his hyungs.
and poor Hyunseung, constantly scolded
for his lack of facial expression.

i know he looks happier in B2ST,
but i can't help wishing YGS
actually chose him instead of Seungri.
i really don't like Seungri.
he's so overconfident and ambitious. :/

anyway, betcha read none of that hahaha.

yesterday night i went for some Indian music concert
with the music students and Mrs Sng.
omg, i know it's mean but it's boring.
i really prefer classical concerts.
lifang actually wore shorts and slippers there -_-

so i reached home at 11.30pm and slept soon at 12 (:

today i went out with my family,
wanted to eat dimsum,
but there was a uber long queue.
so we had bakkutteh instead.
then we went to take Flyer.
half of the time i was smsing sarah tania lianne,
about band stuffs, like choosing individual names for ourselves.
tania totally cracked me up.
"i think we need to choose names for the guys,
cause guys have really bad imaginations."

after Flyer we went to Orchard Central.
i love the rooftop! you can see a lot from up there.
plus there's a lot of wind
and it's the best place to take jumpshots :D
of course you just have to be careful
not to jump too near the banisters.
and then we had cake at... something Paradise.
LOL i forgot the name.
we had 4 sets consisting of tea/coffee and a slice of cake.
shared Mango Chocolate, Banana Chocolate,
Fruit Mix and Orange Tiramisu.
my parents and brother had coffee,
i had Fruit Passion tea.
awesome! (:

i'm so happy i have parents who are foodies like me,

i feel kinda stressed by piano.
i mean, this wasn't exactly what i expected,
when i decided to skip Grade 6 and 7.
i realise that learning Grade 8
is not like some physics formula
you can just pop into your head.
my teacher always emphasises
on the most minute detail.
'Be as detailed as possible.
In Grade 8, every note counts.'

but i won't lose. i'll fight for my dinstinction (:

hello!
had NDP at school today (:
tbh, i think it would have been okay...
if it was held at the damn school hall D:
the parade square was hot ttm.
and that's an understatement.
my gawd, i sat there till my butt roasted
and my uniform was totally sweat-stained.
still glad i didn't wear some cotton red shirt.
that would have been hellish.

i think the UGs and the performers
were damn poor thing, stand there for so long :/
i sit down already want to die.
tree-planting took forever to start,
so yy, faith and i went to library and camwhored :D
act hyper, act cool, act nerd, act disgusted,
act cute, act blur, you name it, we've got it! :D
but faith didn't join us :/
and after that zt came along but left soon after.

then after it all ended,
yy pei-ed me home to change clothes,
then we met zhenying and lifang at tanahmerah mrt.
went to Orchard, got tickets for Salt,
went to eat lunch, went with zhenying to make her specs,
ran all the way back with her cause we were late for movie
(that was a really horrible run through the busy sidewalk),
caught Salt 15min in and it ended really fast o_o
i think Angelina Jolie's character is cool :D
but the movie wasn't so good to me ):
after watching Inception,
it feels like all the movies aren't nice. hahaha.

then we saw mrs lim (?) outside the cinema.
the ex-council teacher/npcc teacher one.
i think she seems very friendly (:
zhenying pulled me hard and i stumbled backward,
then she was like 'IS THAT MRS LIM?'
and i was pretty shocked and looked and said yeah.
then we stood staring for a few moments,
she stared back, and finally she lifted a hand
and waved hi in the surprised manner. LOL.

ah then yy had to rush off,
& lifang and zhenying decided to stay on at Orchard.
yy and i took train back (:
it was bloody crowded. i literally felt squished.
i don't know which ass kept pushing me in.
and by 'ass', i really mean ass.
i mean, it was crowded enough
and he had to shove until we almost fell -.-

but anyway yy alighted at Lavender,
to go to her piano centre or something,
and i trained home. reached home at like 7pm (:
i shall go 吹冷气 in my room now!

aigoo, the Internet is lagging like mad.

must be because of all the schools
celebrating national day tomorrow, ]
so all the students play computer today
like there's no tomorrow (:
hence my server is lagging! hai.
have to wait for like 3min to finally load a page.
so i sit there and stare blankly at a blank page while waiting. :/

this week was not bad, passed quite fast :D
went to see a concert with yy, lifang, chawit monday night.
quite boring. but there was this scary performance.
some TJC dude, instead of playing the piano normally
by the white keys, he plucked the strings in the grand piano! o_o
i've never seen anyone do that before.
it's weird. and he was shouting and chanting,
like some possessed maniac. i got a lil scared.
was relieved when it finally ended.
20th century music is really an eye-opener
compared to baroque, classical & romantic pieces.

for tuesday, i went to eat at WS library with lifang after school.
the spaghetti made me feel extremely bloated D:
on wednesday i ate lunch at canteen with yy,
then me, her and lianne hilled down together.
lianne and i then went to Tamp.
we were both broke after buying ice-cream
so it was quite boring. having no money sucks! hahaha (:

today's lessons:
Music, Emath, PE, recess, Physics, EL, Chinese, SS, Amath.
pretty much of a torture ):
during music we had our mini Indian music test.
i had no idea what a Melakarta and a Niraval are ):
and Southern Chennai, 1970! how could i forget!
haiiiiii. but it's okay, everybody else was like T_T too.
and i almost cried when we got back our songwriting tests.
i got 23/40 ): everybody else got like 30+,
excluding nigel who got 22 and chawit, 28.
but it's so low! why is my songwriting so lousy ):

emath was okay, went through trigo.
pe was spent slacking at indoor sports hall.
it's great that hesheng brings us to ISH
while the other classes stay at indoor stadium :D hahaha.
yy told me a sadistic but funny true story.

there was this couple in China from a university.
they stay in the school hostel.
the guys' and girls' blocks are divided into two
and they stand facing each other.

so one day the guy committed suicide,
and when the police checked his phone for clues,
they found the latest message from his girlfriend:
"老公啊，快看外面，有人跳楼哦!"
geddit? if you don't, you're as lag as me!
but mt, kairong and i laughed like crazy.
i know it's mean, but it's so funny!

anyway i felt slightly happier during physics
because ms ng let us see our physics test marks,
and i got 21/25 (:
el was boring and so was chinese. ss too.
but during amath it was slightly better
because mr yong rocks (:
haha he told us another university ghost story before bell rang.
university sounds so fun leh :/

after lessons i had cca ):
finally it ended at 5! was so happy (:
then i hilled down alone, a bit lonely
but it was still okay because it means i can walk faster :D
dabao-ed dinner home from the coffeeshop downstairs
and went home and listened to 987 :D
i love 987 when it's not blasting horrible autotuned 'music'.

and last but of course not least,
i would like to conclude that
i love Big Bang ♥ and i really want their
album to pop out on Popular bookstore shelves NOW.

today was literally spent on YG Family.
i listened to Se7en's songs,
re-watched a couple of Big Bang vids,
and even went to read on their new families.
