feeling kinda lazy to go thru and caption every post hahahaha 

so some highlights: 

- made a chocolate pie for mooma on mother's day, which sadly i ended up eating 90% of because she's been having a cough and i think she didn't rly like it maybe??

- although i don't think it wasn't nice cos i also made another for sherwin's fam a few days later and he polished it off hehe sho sweet

- had a big presentation at work which is finally over!! so glad pheww. colleagues and i went to eat chirashi don to celebrate

- finally met up with L and T after ages!! we went to some not-v-cheap place at somerset cos we thought burple had a 1-for-1 deal until the staff told us (after we clarified with them there was a deal leh) there was no deal on mother's day...

Using the Blogger app for the first time in a while; not even sure if it'll work properly hahaha

Just wanted to update a lil cos it's been a good week :) mostly!

Also, im leaving next Friday for the states for 2 weeks (LA and Las Vegas omg) so nth can bring me down!! Except more work at work maybe

"Time waits for no man" really realising the meaning of this now that im working and people always say that time rly flies once you start working, but it's just starting to hit me now. Even as i type i realise i've been working almost 9 months already... and JC was only 2 years but it felt like an eternity. Somehow i had time to blog so much more often while managing classes every day, long study sessions, meetups with friends and preparing for frequent tests/exams too. It's crazayye

Anyway i think it's easier to update properly when i upload my pics LOL

Just wanted to say im excited for my US trip and even sad at the same time cos i know time is gonna fly once im there :( also it's my first time flying alone on literally the longest flight i could possibly take and my connection time in HK is 50m LOL scary yet exciting hehe

Gonna spend my weekend a-packin' :)

it's yo girl zoey back again with some brand new pictures!! 

(an overwhelming majority of which are food ones; i apologise in advance) 

i know i always talk about how time flies, but these days i don't really notice until i blog. feels like i just went to Korea, but that was almost two months ago already :o 

a very good album that i still occasionally go back and listen to! it reminds me of my internship days at gilg - so mindless and so carefree

was on mc but snuck out to hide at coffee bean with the rat's ipad so i could watch money heist on it.
this was when i was still suffering from my bedbug bites, so i covered my arms :(
OH ya i rmb now; it was a tuesday so i had to go out anyway cos my cleaner comes over. 

had a coffee bean bfast which was actually not too bad, but i was still recovering from having my wisdomies removed so chewing on one side started to hurt after a while :(

all in all it was a very good day!
kind of marked the end of my suffering from everything - being sick, my bites, my wisdom teeth extraction (honestly the last was the most painless).
terrible period LOL just glad to be healthy again.

 

but ofc that meant it was back to work the next day
good meal tho

died chewing on all the duck HAHA

finished a lip balm for maybe the second time in my life LOL

ampd friends and i went to watch bryan sum session for maneloren one tuesday after work

then afterwards we ate ice-cream and debated the purpose of human life

i always try to support local (wah sounds so pompous), and this meal was okay but they did mess up my other meals when i went there the next few times. oh well, maybe they just need more time?

good friday weekend - mum got a free staycay from her colleague at rws hard rock, so off we went

my parents were so excited to watch the 7pm channel U kdrama on the tv hahhaha

mum & i got hungry so we went down and dabao-ed mcwings hahaha

wah the feeling of waking up the next day (saturday) was amazing
first realisation: was in a cozy hotel bed on a staycation
second: had half the day to walk around sentosa with my mum
third: had the second half to go out with my rat
fourth: it was only saturday morning

monday meal for a busy week

first time at La Nonna's - went cos they had 1 for 1, but after we ordered they said we had to get another meal cos sharing 1-for-1 for 3 people wasn't allowed erm but look at the size of your pizzas

needless to say we were stuffed and had to dabao some food back hahaha

fortunately we found the way quite quickly and walked for about 10min to the jetty

honestly wonder if they taste just like pork

and it was too hot to sleep inside
