 hello my friends!!!

if you are still here checking my blog after nearly five months of dead, awkward silence... what even are you doing with your life? hahaha 

it's quite sad actually that i've broken my streak of blogging at least once a month for the last... what, 14 years? from 2009 to 2023 i've rarely missed a month. look at me now!! i blame adulting!!

jk i haven't even really been that busy. just very lazy, even to film. my camera has been collecting dust for the past few months now, i think since coming back from Italy actually?? i've learnt that it's a lott more tedious to film, edit and post regularly than to upload pics and caption them. but then again, uploading pics is very tedious too. it takes forever and sometimes my com or laptop just crashes without finishing the upload, or my pictures are somehow not in chronological order and then it takes forever to find and sort pictures... all these years of blogging and i've not figured out an efficient way to mass-upload pictures!

anyway, Christmas is upon us and i'm so excited! i've always loved xmas season. the weather this year has been very festive too, it's been pouring every single afternoon which is a somewhat welcome change from the usual unbearable heat cos you get the cool air after a storm! i would know, cos i've been under home arrest for the past 5 days after contracting covid.. pretty sure there's a second wave going around right now cos lots of people are getting it. stay safe everybody!!

in other more exciting news... im preggy!!! woohoo!! it doesn't feel very real yet, i must say. although i'm almost 20 weeks along now. very excited but also scared for a newborn to come into our lives. i've no idea what to do, and also im the sort that needs at least 8 hours of sleep to function, so good luck to me.

been trying to take things easy, relax as much as i can (there will always be work to do, amirite) and just manifest all sorts of positive vibes. 

ok that's it for a quick update, the next time i'm back might be to do an end-year recap again LOL. feels like i just did the 2022 one...
