Day 4 of Morocco! It was spent in Meknes and Fez.

View from our hotel in Casablanca.

There was a Starbucks across the road, it was the first and last Starbucks I saw for all 10 or 11 days in Morocco.

A mosque overlooking the gorgeous Atlantic Ocean. The place was situated next to a library where students frequent. So envious of them for getting to enjoy such a beautiful view when they study!

Confessions. Made me think of the song Goin' Down by The Pretty Reckless, as inappropriate as it was.

This was probably one of the best lunches in Morocco. Like I said, the food there is really, really different. In not such a great way. But this was nice. Fried fish. We also had bread baskets for all our lunches and most of our dinners, I think it's kinda their staple food. Good thing the bread in Morocco is nice.

My mom made me hug the pillar for a photo.

Morocco is seriously gorgeous because all of the land space. It's an amazing feeling to be somewhere where you don't feel trapped amongst the skyscrapers and suffocated in endless crowds of people. Honest. The few days after I was back, I felt like I couldn't get used to the crazy hordes of humans and tall buildings everywhere. I miss the ocean and mountains and huge spaces. Plus it's so rich in history and culture (singapore is not, don't even try to lie to yourself). But ok in terms of friendliness of people and food, we win.

I really really wanna get a job. Bored to death these days. Applied for a few jobs already and only one place responded :( went for the interview today with wums, hope they hire me! If not we'll be back to square one.

I'll be posting pictures from Morocco. This is Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3, according to the tour itinerary. Flew from Changi Airport to Dubai Airport to Mohamed V Airport at Casablanca, Morocco. Day 3 was a rest day for us to get adjusted to the 8-hour time difference. Spent the night in Casablanca, and in the afternoon we drove to the city Rabat.

The Dubai Airport is really quite nice, I think it's one of the top airports in the world. But it's humongous and on the way back when we were all weary and rushing for our last flight it proved quite exhausting running around the airport.

Cause I've been retracing the steps that we took

1. Back from Morocco!!!!! It was... -flips dictionary for a good word- -can't find any- erm really really good?? Would've added another 'really' if not for the food there. Atrocious. But yup the trip was awesome. Feeling a little nostalgic for it :( the day after i came home, I started researching on trips to places like South Africa and East Africa LOL really wanna see more of the continent! Will blog more about Morocco next post.

2. Currently at starbucks. I always decide to give their drinks + CBTL's drinks "just one more try" but they always end up disappointing me "just one more time" so. Last drink! 😡 I don't know why these coffee chains are so popular. There's a hundred and one neighbourhood cafes with much better coffee and tea than them.

3. Got new earphones. I wish they still sold the Panasonic ones, they were sooooo good. The bass was crazy, even with the right ear spoilt the left was still enough to make me feel like I'm in paradise when I listen to Give It Lift Off. So I bought Phillips again, packaging said "Dynamic bass" and "extra bass sound" but it's still quite shit compared to my old Panasonic ones. Maybe I should've tried Sony instead.

4. I got Tumblr finally! My friends who have Tumblr have been telling me to get it. And I was so not disappointed omg it is a haven for me. I followed 37 random users like I literally just searched "bands" and followed the first 37 who popped up and all the gifs and cool stuff and quotes and amazing pictures omg. I cannot.

5. I am so very excited for Mayday Parade coming next year AHHHHHH

My Understandings

I don't mind it
I don't mind it if you're overrated
Or if you're staring at the edge of the world
But keep in mind that I'm a sore eye with blurry vision
But I can see it has to be your love that I've been dreaming of
And if we climb this high, I swear we'll never die
I'll never die

Gonna shower soon then head off with my mom for the airport! So stoked!!

I am gonna miss Singapore food. And my very lovely friends :'( Downloaded a bunch of songs just now. I now have 631 songs in my phone to keep me company on the plane and on the bus. Starting to get into Of Mice & Men. I can't get enough of Shayley and Austin's voices together, two of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard gosh why did you have to leave OM&M, Shayley? :(

This is my last post for the next 13 days. I don't have much to say actually haha.

Ok bye! Wish me a safe trip

Pictures from the 28th!

I'll burn your name into my throat, I'll be the fire that'll catch you

Listening to Caraphernelia acoustic. Again. It's so perfect. Ugh

Feeling bored for the first time in a very, very long while. I just knew I'd miss studying. Haha. I miss classes and learning new stuff though of course I don't miss the exams part. Hated exams. (who doesn't?)

Went to Bryan's house yesterday with Shijia and Jiachen and it was pretty fail we only spent the last 10min doing covers haha but it was still fun we played stacko and I was grand champ -peace sign- ok I actually narrowly avoided losing but still.

I feel like deleting Facebook, I don't really use it anymore and I would've deleted it long ago if not for the pictures but the happy pictures make me sad when I think of how I can't ever go back to those times so well. I don't know. Life's good without Twitter, though. Don't regret deleting that

Also bought two new albums yesterday, I kind of regret it just a little because I realise the Linkin Park album, Recharged, is actually just remixes of other artistes' work. And I'm definitely not a fan of electronic stuff. Like I don't hate it but I don't particularly like it either.

Haven't really listened to the other one though. It's Appeal To Reason by Rise Against. Hopefully I'll like it. There's Hero of War and Savior in it so it can't be that bad, right?

Nothing much else to blog about. I watched The Family online just now. It's good! Michelle Pfeiffer's acting definitely stood out for me.

Flying off to Morocco tomorrow! Won't be back until the 15th, so I won't be blogging till then. They don't have wi-fi in a lot of places there anyway.

Heh heh I can't wait! First ever trip to Africa
