and seeing their high socks
reminds me of what hesheng said that day,
about Japanese and Koreans
not wearing ankle socks at all in school.
well, that's because they have almost knee-length socks.
if the school let us girls wear such cute socks,
duh no one would wear ankle socks.
instead they give us socks that are neither here nor there.
it's totally hypocritical.

anyway, today i was watching a lot of Big Bang videos.
saw one about Youngbae going off-key.
they were singing Haru Haru,
so you hear them singing
'geureokjeureok chamabolmanhae,
geureokjeureok gieongdeongnaemanlhae.'
and suddenly you hear a 'heEEEy' in the background.
HAHA. then Youngbae looked at Seungri,
who stared in shock back then started smiling.
and GD was smiling widely while rapping:
'Oh my girl, I cry cry, yo my heart, say goodbye.'

HAHAHA. it was so ironic.
but despite GD and Seungri's amusement,
Daesung and TOP were more composed,
and they just carried on like nothing happened.
aww, they were so into it, haha.

and then in another video,
Daesung sang a wrong line.
he shouted 'ARE YOU READY' even though
the intro was already over
and it was Youngbae's turn to sing.
this performance wasn't going to be broadcasted,
so the members were more relaxed,
and they actually had fun onstage.

GD got cheeky and started calling
'Youngbae' from behind a few times,
and when Daesung first made the mistake,
he cracked up and had to turn back to stop laughing.
it was so hilarious. :D
and of course there was the video where Seungri
went off-key really bad.
Daesung: 'narul tona-swo mam pyonhe-jigil.'
Seungri: 'narul itgo-so sara-gajWOO.'
HAHAHA. then he turned back and cracked up.

maknae is growing up!
mmm, if he stops being so act-cool,
maybe i will start to like Seungri more :/

you know, i realise that Daesung is actually a very talented person.
GD, TOP & YB have been training in YG Entertainment since childhood,
which is why they were at first unhappy when Daesung and SR entered,
because it seems unfair when they've been training so long
and these two newbies just come in at the same status.
but he and Seungri entered YG based on talent-scouting.
however, Seungri was almost kicked out,
together with SO-1. (okay i sound mean.)

but YG President Yang Hyun Seok was kind enough to give him a 2nd chance.
whereas the President liked Daesung for his unique voice,
his 'smile which lit up the world' and his kind personality.
and despite his parents' strong objection,
Daesung worked very hard to become a singer.
i think it's very inspirational.

also, it just occured to me that 2NE1
has a pretty big age gap.
i kinda knew that already,
but i don't know why,
today the fact just settled in. LOL.
Bommie & Dara are 25, CL is 19 and Minji is 16.
Minji is only a year older than me,
but while she's living her dream of being a hip-hop dancer
in probably the coolest girl group in South Korea,
here i am, sitting here, typing this.
D: there is no such thing as justice.

and i just realised how much i've written. o_o
anyway, today is MJ's 1st death anniversary.
R.I.P, MJ. you are a legend. (:
