this week has been relatively boring,
but i must say that it passed very fast.
feels like all the weeks pass super fast can?
like yesterday was the June holidays
and then vroom, it's end of week 5 already!

but anyway, i shall talk about what i did
after school this week (:

monday was a cca day. -sob-
some instructor called ms pauline came in,
instead of ms shermaine.
she seems nicer than ms shermaine. -shrug-
but more boring. the whole session
was spent talking about the basics like
stage directions and crew management,
which we already learnt in sec1 :/

smsed lifang throughout cca.
planned to have dinner with her,
but she had some exco gg meeting
that took forever.
sat at concourse eating chips with cola.
after that i hilled down with her,
since i couldn't contact lifang,
but in the end she called
and asked me to wait for her. o_o
so we went to Simei BK to eat.
actually only she ate.
i had ice-cream :D i love ice-cream!

i forgot what i did on tuesday afternoon. LOL.

wednesday ended late due to investiture.
i realise it looks very boring. HAHA.
i didn't see ahyang come back :/
after that, i had amath remedial with mr yong.
scared it would be awkward so i asked yy along LOL.
went through Modulus Function.
after lifang finished her bio remedial,
i hilled down with her and we went to WS Subway :D

so sad, we accidentally and unknowingly
ordered double meat + double cheese Cold Cut Trio -.-
so we were shocked when the counter lady
said our meal (we ordered 1 foot long) was $14.50.
sat down and discussed why so exp.
in the end we gave up, thinking they cheated us.
then lifang realised the meat and cheese
was an unusually large portion,
and we realised we somehow accidentally ordered double.
aigoo, my money fly away.

but anyway i guess it was nice :L

after that she had to rush to tuition.
i went home and fell asleep o_o

thursday was cca day too,
but it was different.
we watched some movie called Fame at 3C classroom.
food and drinks were allowed, and it was awesome!
it's about life at a special music school
in the US called New York High School of Performing Arts,
aka P.A. mainly it shows a group of students
with different talents like dance, vocals,
acting, piano and lots of other instruments.
it's super nice :D the choreography was awesome,
the tracks were very original and the plot was okay i guess.

and today, i walked home alone after music.
haha sounds so loner :/
and now i shall re-listen to Fame's soundtrack!

aigoo, this week has been terribly terrible ):
especially dislike how everytime on mondays
and thursday i'm like, yay, school's ending soon!
and then i realise i have cca after that.
depressing much, hai.

i think the worst day of the week was Thursday.
i got scolded by teachers 2 times
and i almost slipped 3 times,
thanks to the rainy weather.
it's not that i don't love the weather.
it's pure awesomeness,
just that... :/ aiyah.
but at least it's better than the scorching heat.
i wish Singapore was way above the equator.

ah, today pretty much sucked too ):

i only printed half of it the night before,

after music i went to find elaine
and we had lunch at BK simei.
regretting it right now.
i should have gotten something healthier.

i got full marks for emath test, yay.
1st time leh! LOL.

elit was a matter of struggling to stay awake.
to solve the problem, i chatted with yy kairong lifang,
but ended up annoying ms tay for talking too much instead.
i don't understand teachers. talking is the only way
we can stay awake enough to focus on lessons.
by not talking, we'll have the tendency to fall asleep.
isn't that even worse?

i have 3 random things to say.

1. I heard from a Youtuber that Chois
are usually quite tall people.
After looking at Choi Seunghyun from Big Bang
and Choi Sooyoung from SNSD,
i realised how scarily true that is. o_o

2. There was a 6th member scheduled
to debut with Big Bang called SO-1,
but unfortunately he got eliminated.
i heard he's currently with B2ST,
and that his real name is Jang Hyunseung.
2 of Big Bang's members have the same name,
Seunghyun. and Hyunseung is the opposite!
so if Hyunseung indeed debuted with BB as planned,
it means half of BB's members would have the same name!

3. Tania is the only person i know so far
whose favourite CNBlue member is Jungshin.
and today i discovered they both have the same birthday o_o

ah, forgot to warn Kpop haters not to read the above.
but i bet you guys skipped the whole chunk anyway haha.

AND.
INCEPTION IS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER.
no joke. Watched it today and i was like omg,
it was bloody awesome.
it's one of those exceedingly rare movies
that have no hot guy + hot girl falling in love,
and it really makes you think.

it has this brilliant plot that combines
the unheard-of concept of group lucid dreaming,
disturbingly realistic dreamworlds
and layers of dreams, like dreams within dreams.
add in the idea of time travel and physics,
and you get Inception.
Leonardo DiCaprio has lost his young blonde bad-boy image,
but not his acting skills, and he totally brings out Cobb's character.

Ellen Page was just as great as she was in Juno.
and Joseph Gordon-Lewitt is hot in an unusual way. HAHA.
when i first saw him i didn't think much of him,
but then the more you look at him the cooler he looks.
he has the Shia Lebouf look. and those sad eyes.

but anyway the movie's freaking awesome.
complicared plot, and i have to say Mal is creepy,
but it's great.

it's about a team of people on a mission
employed by a rich businessman
to find out the contents of a will through inception.
inception is the process of group lucid dreaming.
the dreams are planned and carefully designed,
and they are like reflections of reality.
it's exactly like real world, which is the problem.

i won't give away too much (:
but the team consists of 6 people-
Saiko, the Japanese rich businessman,
Cobb, the Extractor (their leader
and the one who plans their mission),
Areidna, the Architect (she designs
and draws out their dreamscapes and settings),
Arthur, the Point Man (he researches on their targets),

and i forgot their names but there's also
the Chemist who is the one who makes the drugs
that will bring them into their dreams
and there's a guy who has the ability
to take the physical form of their targets in their dreams.

throughout the movie,
you have to really pay attention to understand,
and after a while of not getting it, you'll be like ahhh.
it makes you think about dreams and reality,
and how the subconscious state of mind
can take over you and your actual mind.

in short, i loved the whole movie.
Christopher Nolan's a genius,
and the cast is brilliant.
reviews for this movie were 84% positive.
that's seriously a feat.

i want to see more awesome sci-fi like this (;

term 1 i thought it was gonna be bad,

well, the week's been boring as usual.
"Life is a maze and love is a riddle" :D
so here's what i've learnt
lifang has to say about k-pop bands.

"I know Girls' Generation is the a lot of girls one,
the one who sang Gee. Then Big Bang is the one i know most
because they all look different and ugly.
SHINee is the one with a guy with a weird weird hairstyle (Key).
Then Super Junior is a lot a lot of guys then got one fattie (Shindong)."

before that,
she pointed to a SHINee poster and said:
"THERE! that weird weird guy's hairstyle!"
i said that was Key.
she asked "what group is that?"
me said SHINee.
she: "i thought SHINee got 12 guys?"
me: -faints- -.-

well, so today was tiring.

i wrote on my paper: 'die already'.
2nd period english,
was spent taking the opportunity to discuss
elit with yy, kairong, rachel,
thanks to groupwork,
so zhenying and lifang were mad
that i didn't help in groupwork haha.

ms tay came in instead of ms ng.
meh, there was no way to cheat.
left lots of blanks, hai.

recess; played piano at concourse with yy.

there was this group of Zhenzhou students,
who came to our school for immersion i think.
got one of them quite shuai leh!
when yy saw, her first instinct was to gasp,
then to tidy her hair and remove her specs. HAHAHA
and we actually stalked them to 3rd floor o_o

was late for emaths,
then spent it chatting with lifang.
matrices suck as much as log!

after that was Music Composition EOY T.T
1 and a half hours of stress.
even when mrs sng said 1 minute left,
i was barely done.
I HAD NO TIME TO INSERT DYNAMICS/TEMPO MARKINGS.

that my answers are total crap. -.-
some teacher. mr yong's way better!

i almost cried because i couldn't do the worksheet at all D:

i happened to run in front of this woman,
and she took one look at my face,
spun around and grabbed her son next to her
instinctively, even though she didn't know
what was going on. HAHAHA.
told lifang later and we laughed like crazy after that.
i must have looked like there was Godzilla
behind that woman or something.

another incident was that i was talking to lifang,
and suddenly she looked behind me
and started pointing franctically,
totally speechless.

my 1st thought: what the heck is she doing?
2nd thought: oh no.
3rd thought: THERE'S SOMETHING BEHIND ME.
4th thought: RUN ZOEY RUN.

so i ran behind this stack of dog food,
and i saw this huge black hyperactive dog
walk right where i was 2 seconds ago.
its owner was trying his best to control it.
lifang almost got me killed thanks to her speechlessness D:

so tomorrow i'm meeting carmen for lunch.
ahyang can't come cause he has lessons.
hard to believe poly people don't have holidays.
that's damn sad leh.

woke up subconsciously at 750am,
prepared for chem remedial, hai.
supposed to meet lifang at 845am bus stop,
then we got confused.
dunno what she wake up late
so she will be late,
in the end i missed 2 buses to wait for her.

ended up reaching school at 930am -.-
chem starts at 9am haha.
so we went to tutorial room 5,
other than me and lifang,
there was only zhenying faith nicole junzhong.
remedial ended 1030am,
faith lifang and i hilled down together
after zhenying pangseh-ed us :/

went to simei kfc to eat.
nice lah, but as a health freak,
i didn't really like it haha.
went to wander around at Pet Safari.
faith left early, lifang and i
continued wandering.
stayed there for one hour o_o

the dogs are so cute D:
the hamsters as well.
i want the Shetland Sheepdog.

then we spent the rest of the afternoon
wandering round Simei,
chatted a lot, went to playground
and hanged around.

was very tall and scary,

i failed in taking a picture of him,
trying to pretend i was calling somebody,
but he sort of noticed and started walking faster.
LOL, dunno if it was because of me.

ate dinner with her.
i ate my own bowl of noodles
plus more than half her bowl.
seriously, she eats damn little.
like some malnourished little girl -.-
so being extremely hungry,
i helped her out.

last night for some weird reason,
i dreamt i was back in primary school,

anyway, today i was watching a lot of Big Bang videos.
saw one about Youngbae going off-key.
they were singing Haru Haru,

and suddenly you hear a 'heEEEy' in the background.
HAHA. then Youngbae looked at Seungri,
who stared in shock back then started smiling.
and GD was smiling widely while rapping:

HAHAHA. it was so ironic.
but despite GD and Seungri's amusement,
Daesung and TOP were more composed,
and they just carried on like nothing happened.
aww, they were so into it, haha.

and then in another video,
Daesung sang a wrong line.
he shouted 'ARE YOU READY' even though
the intro was already over
and it was Youngbae's turn to sing.
this performance wasn't going to be broadcasted,
so the members were more relaxed,
and they actually had fun onstage.

GD got cheeky and started calling
'Youngbae' from behind a few times,
and when Daesung first made the mistake,
he cracked up and had to turn back to stop laughing.
it was so hilarious. :D
and of course there was the video where Seungri
went off-key really bad.

you know, i realise that Daesung is actually a very talented person.
GD, TOP & YB have been training in YG Entertainment since childhood,
which is why they were at first unhappy when Daesung and SR entered,
because it seems unfair when they've been training so long
and these two newbies just come in at the same status.
but he and Seungri entered YG based on talent-scouting.
however, Seungri was almost kicked out,
together with SO-1. (okay i sound mean.)

but YG President Yang Hyun Seok was kind enough to give him a 2nd chance.
whereas the President liked Daesung for his unique voice,
his 'smile which lit up the world' and his kind personality.
and despite his parents' strong objection,
Daesung worked very hard to become a singer.
i think it's very inspirational.

also, it just occured to me that 2NE1
has a pretty big age gap.
i kinda knew that already,
but i don't know why,
today the fact just settled in. LOL.
Bommie & Dara are 25, CL is 19 and Minji is 16.
Minji is only a year older than me,
but while she's living her dream of being a hip-hop dancer
in probably the coolest girl group in South Korea,
here i am, sitting here, typing this.

i remember spending like half an hour

and now i remember something else my father told me about butterflies and moths. apparently they love warmth and light. wherever they go, they search for the nearest source of heat and light. and the thing is, they love light so much, they willingly fly towards candles even though they know the heat may be too strong for them and they will get scorched to death.

because they love it so much, they don't mind dying just to be as close as possible to warmth and light. anyway, they will die in less than a few days' time. it probably doesn't matter if they die now, let alone die next to the things they love most in the world. it's very sweet, but very saddening. it shows how while we sit here and lament to ourselves about how hard and long life is, these tiny creatures struggle to love and cherish the little things in life that we humans do not see.

i suddenly realise how dumb i am, wallowing in self-pity 24/7. hai.

oh, reminds me of the time when i got so sleepy i actually raised my left hand instead of my right during the school pledge o_o and luckily no one noticed, otherwise so paiseh!

actually, i think the weird thing is that i sleep at like 10pm on schoolnights, wake up at 6.15am, and i still feel sleepy. haha. i spent my day today re-watching WGM on Youtube and listening to SNSD songs. funny how i used to dislike SNSD, now i think they're okay. but of course, nothing can beat the YG family <3 2NEBang!

while doing my theory homework, i listened to mtv with my brother watching it. Taio Cruz's Break Your Heart ended at #3, and suddenly we heard an oh-so-familiar little boy singing: 'oh-oh whoa whoa oh.' immediately both of us groaned in unison. HAHA. bieber boy is really annoying. well, at least they had Nothin On You at #1. (:

just now, i looked up and noticed a huge black patch at my window and i wondered what it was. then i realised it was a 3-inch long and about 4-inch wide moth. naturally, i freaked out. my brother freaked out too. my father looked at it and said calmly: 'i've seen bigger.' -.- so naturally, he was the one who got his newspaper and chased it out the window, but not before i grabbed my phone for a couple of shots. i swear it's lovely. it's huge, brown with streaks of white on it, and the wings have this strange pattern to it which is absolutely fascinating.

well, it may not sound nice but it is (:

so i started talking to my father about butterflies and moths, and he said that most of them usually have barely a week to live. some only live for a day, before they die. and i was pretty shocked to hear that. for some weird reason, i started wondering, what do you do if you have only a day to live? if right now somebody told you you're gonna die in 24 hours, would you freak out and jump out the nearest window? would you shrug and say 'oh, whatever'? or would you accept it and start treasuring every second you have left?

so the butterfly gets born as a caterpillar. it lives and nurtures itself till it is of the right age to settle down and weave a coccoon. (sounds like i'm giving a bio lesson here) but after it becomes a butterfly and has all the beauty it never had, it has only a few days to live. why? why is happiness anything but everlasting? is every form of joy in this world short-lived?

and i just realised all i blog about these days is music. haha. yeah, that's because i have no life. seriously. got grounded for going out too much, that's what happened. ): so i spend my days on Korean dramas and Youtube. they need to hand out an award for most dedicated Youtuber. i'd get 1st. :D

so today i stayed home as well. there's some kiddy carnival thing going on down my block. and they keep blasting the same music the whole afternoon. like, god. -.- it was nice at first, but then all the repeated Evanescense (dunno how to spell), Akon, Wonder Girls (betcha can guess what song), Craig David and some random dude singing Umbrella got irritating. hai.

oh, did i mention i like Green Day's new single? American Girl :D it's kinda contrasting with their old song American Idiot, which almost put them in jail for lyrics that promote anti-Americanism. HAHA.

okay, i want to scream out that CN Blue's Jung Yonghwa and SNSD's Seohyun make suchhh a cute couple. kyaaaaaaaa, it's absolutely adorable. and then yonghwa said in a interview that his ideal girl is Seohyun... and they look lso sweet together in We Got Married. -spazzes- cutest part is when Minhyuk and Jungshin teach their sister-in-law drums and bass basics, and Yonghwa keeps watching them closely and when their hands get too close to Seohyun's when her fingering is not right, he takes their hands away or nudges them. ^^

and then when Seohyun sings SNSD's 'Oh!', there's a line: 'oh oh oh oh, oppareul saranghe~' and Yonghwa immediately stopped and asked her 'really?' LOL. (oppa is a term used to address older guys, and saranghe means i love you.) all the guest commentators were like 'awwwww'. yeah, so sweet (: eesh.

and also, i finished watching You're Beautiful today! (lag right, i know, that drama is like over one year old already.) but anyway, i think guys with amazing smiles are :D first Kang Daesung, now Jang Geunsuk! (but of course Daesung will always be first) and JGS looks just like a cuter version of GD when he smiles! waaaaaaa. (: if A.N.JELL was a real band that would be awesome, although CN Blue isn't bad either (: seriously, Ft Island's Hongki, Jang Geunsuk and CN Blue's Yonghwa all in one band? wow.

i'm back from Korea! (obviously).
a few things i would like to say,
since my laziness disallows me
to blog in full about my 6 days in Korea <3

1. Korea was cool + awesome.
2. Outskirts of Korea are beautiful. Mountains!
3. Myeongdong Street is a shopping haven o_o
4. I saw a bear humping another bear in a safari.
The funny thing was the others' reaction though.
5. I saw a fat naked woman in a changing room T.T
traumatised for life.
6. I heard 4 Ne-Yo songs in Korea altogether <3
7. i heard Big Bang's Tell Me Goodbye twice <3
8. korean food is horrible.
9. Korean people are either very nice or very kp.
10. I think i grew fatter since my stay in Korea, HAHA

damned tired now.
the plane flight was bloody horrible.

tried out clothes.

and not to audition initially.

went to Aljunied with her
and we found the place.

i thought is scam one at first.
then we went in and it looked empty.
there was a China woman there

anyway, so she sort of interviewed elaine,
then she asked her to sing.
elaine thought it was sing together
and not solo. so she sort of freaked out then.
but anyway it was okay.
then i auditioned too for fun haha.
lucky she never interview me,
just ask me to sing on the spot.

we sang the same songs -
Cry by The Veronicas and Umbrella by Rihanna.
after that she gave us comments:
elaine's voice is quite 'hou',
according to her in chinese,
and she can sing okay,
but her range is not large
and she can sing 'middle' only.
then she said my voice is not so 'hou',
i can sing high and middle but not low.

and she not bad leh,
after i auditioned she asked
if i liked r&b.
i was like o_o how did you know?
scary siol.
she can actually tell what i like
just from the way i sing.

but anyway it was obviously a gimmick,
because after that she said what
if you want to join as a parttime singer,
you should take a 8-month course
which is $1800 and then you can
record a demo and album or something blablah.
tsk, cheat our feelings :/

and she said we're sort of too young,
so our voices are not very developed yet.
it's like, are we supposed to break voice or smth -.-
haha okay i'm being very bad.

anyway, we're supposed to contact her
after 2 days and tell her
our decisions about the offer,
because i said i need to go home ask my parents,
but obviously i'm not gonna call back haha.
not interested in a job anyway.
i got enough monehh.

poor elaine though,
she wanted a job so she
could buy a iPod Touch.
looks like she'll need to find another one.
